As I was reading 1 Nephi 10:9 a while ago, I got to thinking about the Savior and how He lived His life. I was reminded of why He was baptized. It wasn't so He could be cleansed of sin; He was sinless and perfect. He was baptized to be perfectly obedient, to fulfill all righteousness. I realized that this righteous act was one of an infinite number--He came to fulfill ALL righteousness, and He did. He always did the right thing. He didn't just live without sin, He lived a life full of service and love. He was always taking opportunities to do good, to smile, to give, to serve, and to love. He truly "went about doing good." Thinking of the Savior this way helps my heart to love and accept Him. There is no one that deserves more fully our admiration and love.
