It's over.

Well, I finished finals yesterday. I took my last three, in around three hours. It's a good thing that they're done. Anyways, I had a good semester and was able to learn some new things. I definitely had a lot of help from Heavenly Father, and I made it through. So, without any further ado, here's my semester in review:

Family Finance: My professor was good, but I am just not extremely interested in finance. I did a whole bunch of time value of money junk, and the finance application on my calculator felt the love.

Biology: I had this class with my wonderful cousin Katie, which was a blessing. We sat by her nice friend Melanie, who sat by a very attractive boy named Ryan. Sigh. Anyways, we learned/talked about a lot of stuff, but I didn't do a very good job of putting in the time to really learn it or memorize it. At the very least if someone ever threatens to throw me into their hagfish's jaws of death, I can smugly reply that hagfishes don't have jaws.

Geography: So good, I learned a lot about peoples and places all over the world! My professor was awesome. Geography, unfortunately, has a bad rap. It's so much more than just physical or political maps. Geography has so many facets and ties into so many things. Social sciences are just the bomb. I love knowing where places are and cool stuff about the world. I hope someday someone needs to know where Vladivostok is, because it would kinda be a dream come true to tell them its location. (Nerd? Yes.)

Writing: I learned quite a bit about rhetoric, which was good. Ethos, pathos, logos! Yes. I wrote some papers and hopefully improved some of my writing skills. My teacher was good, she was nice and had an interesting sense of humor. I don't know how to describe it, but she made me laugh. Overall it was pretty good, even though I don't enjoy research papers.

Book of Mormon: We learned good concepts, and my teacher was very nice and also funny. He liked to say things like, "There are two things I can't do and they're both draw." He was just funny. Plus I got to sit by an old friend who moved away in the 8th grade. Pretty crazy. Pretty cool. It's an awesome opportunity to be able to take religion classes and learn about the scriptures from people who are very knowledgeable about the gospel. Good stuff.

Well, there it is. My semester. It was good. :)
